I like Bellew, but I wish he'd stop whining about Cleverly. It was a close fight, but he clearly lost while still showing his class. If he keeps winning, I'm sure they'll meet up again.

Agree with IIG - Bellew's got a huge case of sour g****s here and needs to move on.

He's come out with a lot of bs since - first he said he broke his left hand in the 4th round - which is why he stopped using the jab so much.

Now he's saying he broke his right hand in the second - well he used it a lot afterwards - landing some big right hands to the head and a couple of really big ones in round 10 or 11 I think, so he's clearly talking bs here.

I remember fighters that box one hand when there hand goes, so Bellew's wasn't nowhere near that bad - when he's throwing it flat out.

Cleverly on the other hand boxed with a broken rib - confirmed by Adam Booth, Goerge Groves and Chris Eubank Jr who were all there when it happened and wasn't able to spar for the last few wks of camp, seriously throwing of his timing - his speed and sharpness weren't there etc.

He didn't earn his shot at Cleverly - he talked his way into it. He was on home ground - he had the perfect opportunity to win the fight with home advantage - all his own fans behind him in a hugely partisan crowd but he still couldn't do it.

So he should shut up and just work his way back into earning another shot.

It was a close fight granted but most had Cleverly winning.

As for his comments about Cleverly being the weakest Champion - I disagree, Shumnov and Cloud I believe are much worse, but there are many fighters in that division that presently are stronger and more established fighters than Cleverly like - Pascal, Dawson etc.

But if Cleverly is the weakest champion then what does that say about himself - he lost on home turf to the weakest champion then - clearly not the sharpest tool in the box.

I didn't like Bellew, then I respected him after the fight for his above expected performance and the way he handled himself after the fight.

Now he's getting on my nerves again with his constant moaning.

You didn't earn the shot and didn't take it when you got it - so move on and earn your shot again and you'll get a rematch in down the line.

I would pretty much put Cleverly and Shumenov in the same class. Cleverly hasn't beaten anyone of particular note (Bellew included) and Shumenov never really won a title since he was beaten twice by Campillo and had to have crooked Vegas judges give him a belt. Both have fought nobodies since getting belts. Although Cloud lost to Campillo, he has fought better competition than either.
