        Since he fights here all the time, they're counting him I guess. I know this is only counting sports figures in america because if it wasn't... no NFL player would be on here.

          I thought it was weird that a NASCAR driver was #1 and that Manny had never made this list before. Then I actually read the article and saw it was from a survey of 1100 people and it made much more sense. 3 NASCAR drivers last year and 2 this year. I'd be willing to guess this extensive research to discover the most "influential athletes in america" was conducted in a tri-county area of North Carolina.
