Anyone care to tell me just how good it was?
Wish I were here for the Mayweather-Hatton buildup.

same as any other build up where they said Hatton would kick floyds ass and take his 0.then after the fight Floyd is a punk for picking on a smaller guy who wasnt that good to begin with...you know the usualComment

It was massive and it had me worried that the fight couldnt possibly live up to the hype but with the KO win it did. I wish the ref would have chilled out a bit though and let them work more.
The DLH-Mayweather fight was sort of a let down in that they were both so defensive minded. DLH-Hopkins was a let down too, huge hype and then that ending was weird and seemed fake.
Mayweather-Pac has already passed peak interest and I wondered too if it could have possibly lived up to the hype if it was a boring UD win with mayweather boxing and moving and Pac unable to cut off the ring, but with mayweather fighting more aggressive now it could have lived up to it.Comment

Oh yeah and the 24/7 for it was awesome, with it being new and all of that and still being fresh and them having a rivalry going on. And noobs being impressed by Hattons work on that giant bodybag thing that his trainer used talking **** about how he would have better stamina than mayweather in the ring ect then getting pwned badly on fight night.
Hopkins-Calzaghe had me screaming at the TV the first round when cal***gy got dropped, after that though it was lame. I still think if hopkins opened up a bit more he would have won. And he showed in the pavlik fight following that he still had good stamina at the time.Comment

What's funny is that it seems like so many people from 2005-2007 were saying "Floyd doesn't want to fight Hatton, he's avoiding Hatton", when in fact it was Hatton and his team saying they didn't want the fight in 2005. I had no problem with that, it helped Hatton get more wins on his resume like Maussa, Urango, and Collazo, and helped him get more US exposure during 2006.
And prior to the fight, people seemed like they thought Hatton was going to rough Floyd up and beat him down. Floyd TKO'd him, and now it was Floyd cherry picking a small blown up fighter, who ******. Nevermind the fact that Hatton had won a title at 147 and was the #8 P4P fighter in the world at the time.
The 24/7 was amazing, though you probably watched that still. It was the best 24/7 of all-time, will never be out done.Comment
