The WBA has ordered a purse bid for the featherweight clash between champion Panamanian Celestino "Pelenchin" Caballero (36-4, 23KOs), and mandatory challenger Miguel "Mikey" Garcia (28-0, 24KOs). The purse bid will take place on May 3rd in Miami, according to the Championship Committee of the World Boxing Association .The purse bid takes place at 12 noon at the Marriott Hotel, with Executive Vice President Gilberto Mendoza being present.

I like this fight. If Caballero can make Garcia pick up the pace it will make for a special night.

Caballero doesn't have too many chances left to be involved in great fights so I can see him taking advantage and pushing Mikey. I can see Garcia winning but as long as its a good fight I can deal with a spoiler.
