Mayogra and Margarito were NOT Top 10 Jr Middle Weights When Cotto Beat Them

Cotto is based of his introductory win at 154 and past performance. Its a fair ranking. Nobody there is truly established themselves as the best of the best. The only one there that deserves maybe an honorable mention is...nope, only Molina deserves an honorable mention.
Margarito is still better than everyone there and I'd still favor him except against Lara and of course Cotto.
In other news, everyone give the OP a cookie for stating the obvious because really...who caresComment

who in the top 10 right now should cotto have fought? kirkland was in prison, angulo couldnt get a visa, lara wasnt top 10 he was an up and comer, molina was considered a journeyman, rodriguez was considered a journeyman, dzinziruk was horribly inactive, vanes was a joke and is a joke now
both mayorga and margarito were marketable...from a business point of view these fights made sense
cotto never ducked anyone...he certainly isnt going to start nowComment

These are the same dudes that said that Margarito was going to make him take a knee again and also said that Yuri was too big and too fast for Cotto coming off of a beatdown by Pac at a higher weight. The knee going out is a complimentary excuse, but they forget that prior to all that, Cotto's superior footwork, angles, jab and timing was too much for Foreman, whether he had two legs or four legs.
Now its the stage where you just dismiss everything. Just point and laugh broComment
