If only that were the case. Contenders are looking at Povetkin rather than K2.

What was noted ofterwards was that Solis must have injured himself BEFORE the fight. He had torn his ACL partially during training, but his team thought it was minor an didn't bother with an MRI scan to grade full extent of the damage.
Obviously thats one of the worst things you could do, because Knee injuries are degenerative an get progressivley serious over time..
They should of went went ahead with the surgury an came in 100% for the fight 12 months later.

It might of had somthing to do with the punch, but I would point out that Vitali was moving backwards so there was no leverage in the punch itself, ..It wasn't that hard.
Case in point: During Vitalis carreer he has never ever put someone down from a punch like that, let alone in the 1st round. He doesn't have that sort of exposiveness.. He puts his shots together over the 10 rounds of a fight to get his Ko's

I hope Solis gets another shot, He's more than capable of beating Vitali. (Less so against Wladimir with the faster feet)

Guys will be suprised at how easy Vitali can be outboxed.
