things are getting hot in the lower weights
Nonito can mop up all these dudes and become the king
    Mijares? acceptable, but not preferable
Mares is on a roll, that fight would be great
Nonito will kick his ass, Nonito-Mares, ASAP!

Mijares is going to get crushed.

I predicted the Rosas upset by Mijares because he's effective on the inside, so he can outmaneuver stronger inside fighters (Arce, Rosas, etc.), but against fighters that prevent him from getting inside (Darchinyan) and limit his effectiveness on the inside (Cermeno), he has no answers except to keep stalking forward.

Against Donaire, Mijares is going to slowly and methodically walk into strong counters from Donaire. Mijares is stronger and faster than before, but he is going to look like the southpaw version of Sydorenko.

“Donaire Being Chased By Many, But Mijares in the Lead”
Translation: Among all the possible fights, Mijares is the easiest. In the old days the norm used to be: Build up your record so you can get the big fights later. Now it is different: build up your record so you can get a promoter to protect you later. What a shame! Mares fought brilliantly yesterday, why not face him? Rigondeaux is out of the picture because “he is not exciting” I guess performances like the ones put forth by Vásquez Jr. and Narvaez are the new epitome of excitement.

Yeah I bet he is. Typical matchmaking. They should ban anyone from being in contention for any top 5 spot while any dangerous fighters with star appeal are withing reach of their weight class & they don't fight.
