Comments Thread For: Steward: Stevenson Can Beat Everyone at 168, Bute Too

Rising Canadian super middleweight Adonis Stevenson (18-1, 15KOs) is the next superstar at 168-pounds, according to trainer Emanuel Steward. The veteran coach is very impressed with his newest protege and expects the boxer to dominate the entire super middleweight division in the coming years.

I'm a huge fan but I doubt he'd defeat everybody.

      Adonis' power is incredible though.

That's not entirely true at all. I see you're going for the Wladimir angle here but how soon do you forget that Steward said this exact same stuff about Andy Lee right before Andy got blasted off the set by a C- fighter lol! Keep it 100 dawg.

I haven't seen this lad yet and on the back of this praise look forward too.

However, Steward also backed Froch to beat Ward - ahem....

great power, though ko'd by darnel Boone, a spoiler who beat undefeated Willie Monroe Jr...terrible habit of dropping his lead hand after jabbing, Butte or Ward would capitalize on.. needs to get in w/better guys...lets c next year...as long as he's in Canada nothing happens...

He certainly has the power, but what happens against a Bute or Ward, who can box and punch back and are used to going deep into fights? Stevenson would certainly have a puncher's chance against anyone at 168

                  Darnell Boone....................

Adonis Stevenson vs. Anthony Dirrell would be a great fight, and a shot for the winner elevate themselves near the Top of 168 for big fights.

read about or watch the darnell boone fight, he dropped boone once, he was droped from one punch but was up right away, was fine, the fight was waved off. his only lose is to a terrible stoppage
