There is something about Hopkins this time round. He seems so focused and genniuely upset about losing to Taylor. I get the impression that Hopkins is the kind of fighter that needs a reason to fight at his best. To be honest, he has performed very poorly by his standards since the third Robert Allen fight. He appeared bored and labored in fights he was dominating.
Also, in the first fight with Taylor, Taylor won more so because of what Hopkins wasn't doing rather than what Taylor was doing.
Hopkins gifted the first 5 rounds to Taylor and nearly won!
Hopkin's defence was excellent that night. And the truth is that if Hopkins had put a little more effort in, he would have won.
Unless Taylor makes major adjustments, Hopkins doesn't really have to improve that much to win.
This is why i take hopkins to win a close but deserved UD!

I'm no Hopkins hater but Bhops must have learned his lesson in their previous fight so he will come out of this fight swinging in the early rounds. And at that point I'm giving Taylor the punchers chance of hurting BHops badly reason why I'm betting on Taylor.

If taylor fails to hurt B-Hops in the first 6 rounds it's going to be B-Hops by decission.

I'll go with the Slop. He should be focussed enough to put some good headbutt/running shoe combinations together and retake his titles.

thats kind of a tough argument, seeing as hes one of the most techniclly sound fighters in boxing today...not sure how your getting that one

this is a tougth one for me, seeing as i want hopkins to win, but have a bad feeling about the fight...im still unsure
