doomcity202, this is a good shot, that can be interpreted a couple of ways...obvious to the bernard hopkins fan, is chad dawson's left, hooked around hopkins right leg...but not so obvious to the hopkins fan, is the fact that hopkins, is clearly off his feet after a missed punch, with hopkins, solidly planted on chad dawson's back, with his left arm hooked around chad dawson's back, and his full weight, on chad dawson's back...had chad dawson, not used his strength to throw bernard hopkins off of him, bernard hopkins, surely would have made chad dawson's knee's buckle, and cave in under bernard hopkins full weight...chad dawson, probably would have been damaged goods, for the rest of the fight...
now, we've seen plenty of fights, where fighter a throws, misses, remains on his feet, but is on top of fighter b, and fighter b will duck under, but will extend his arms, so there can be a clean break...pernell whitaker, was a master at this....
hopefully, in the hopkins-dawson rematch, we will get a clean fight, so the outcome, is more defined...Comment

All this talk that he saw in Hopkins eyes.... All BS. Dawson was scared. He didn't need to lift Hopkins up. Stand still let the referee break you two clean, then go give Hopkins the Beatdown you promised you would. Instead you're scared demeanor skewed your thinking.
