Floyds being nice cause he has to sell Cotto to the audience. He did the samething with Ortiz who was not well known or with Marquez cause he was the smaller man (lightweight) moving up (to welterweight). Fighters that worry Floyd he talks ****, Hatton, Delahoya...at the weigh-in, its routine time! Floyd will Choke, kiss, or grab Cotto at the weigh-in, he'll start talking crap in about a week or two. Same routine by Floyd.

i'm latino and rooting for floyd. Nationalist pride is something i understand most people gravitate to. But to be honest, for me personally, i feel above such petty things and think a lot of sports would be better without people having favorites based merely on how they identify with teams/athletes geographically and/or ethnically. Hard work, talent and success should be celebrated in sports(or anywhere in life for that matter) regardless of what a team or individual represent. First and foremost they're people, just like you and i, accomplishing great feats that the average person only dreams of and it's why they are revered in the first place. Show some respect regardless.

Why? Cotto is the third biggest PPV draw in US. Cotto have a fan base. Nothing like Ortiz. And I doubt he will act ****** knowing that on June 1st he is going again to the judge trying to sell his recent good boy appearance.

Not true what you said, Im puerto Rican and love Mexican boxers Fernando Vargas, De La hoya, Victor Ortiz, Marquez etc... the list goes on. And don't say "nothing against Pr's" when you just basically said you don't like them.

hey I hope Cotto can pull off an upset, but I know it won't be an easy task for him. I'm Mexican and rooting for Cotto to win, but the way floyd fights and styles make fights. I respect Cotto because he fights who ever they put in front of him.
