Broner gets more attention on sites like this than most guys on the P4P list. He's doing something right to keep getting exposure like this. They were showing the hairbrush thing on ESPN probably almost 2 years ago already. I'm not a fan of his "character" but I'm a fan of his in the ring for sure. I look forward to watching him fight on a major stage again.

I think this fight was supposed to be a quick turn around before getting in with Escobedo in the August or September.

only because he just moved down into the division but hes better thn half the ppl on the list and not to mention hes bigger as well. so ppl wont complain about broner fighting a midget once he fights him.

Ortiz didn't get a tune up when he fought berto, Mosely moved from LW to fight Oscar at WW, Duran moved to WW from LW for leonard why the fucc this diva gets special treatment? he's not even a big draw......he fights below LW for gods sake

Do people really care that much about who Broner fights~ he should annihilate Sykes but this is just a stay busy proposition and a fight to make him look good.

Escobedo is a legit fighter, if that is the plan fine I have no real issue with who he fights inbetween. I am fine with it on HBO as they are trying to build Broner, so having him on and looking good is worth it as that will draw more fans than looking average against some guy people won't recognize anyways~

hes a potential star. and there are no big fights around the division to compare to dlh, leonard or even berto. not to mention they were all much older and experienced. its a faulty comparison.
