Abril seems like a gentleman class act

Rios is pure trash a garbage mouth foul profane piece of rotted trash. Abril won the fight by a big margin. The stench of boxing is chasing fans away. Fighters like the wee Rios and his filth should be written off as garbage.

The fight wasn't some kind of classic war, or anything like that; but it wasn't boring, either. Abril has no real power. The way a guy like him fights, if he's smart (and Richard is clearly intelligent), is by using his skills and every tool at his disposal. Setting out to win on points versus a stronger fighter is quite advisable; it's not rocket science. Abril clinched when he had to; it wasn't excessive. And, the last I checked, good lateral movement is something praiseworthy in a boxer.

You obviously don't like boxing, which is what Richard Abril held a master class in. You like brawling. There's nothing wrong with that, but don't trash a guy because he employed the skills and techniques of the sweet science to near-perfection.

The way I see it, Rios allowed Abril to do anything and everything he felt like. There were many times in the fight where Richie went into a "Philly shell" during in-fighting, stood there, and Rios could do nothing with him. In fact, there were many times when Rios didn't throw any punches at all! Are you going to blame Abril for that?

True. But we all know that there are many fighters who would trash their opponent after getting robbed, regardless of fault. Abril has been a gentleman about this whole affair. It's right that Richard be applauded.
