BTW, LOL @ the agenda and bias here. I'm going to cancel my HBO subscription if they show garbage like Broner-Sykes/Clay and Donaire-Mathebula. And, I'm going to get Showtime to enjoy Lara-Hearns.

Why would I pay for HBO and not have Showtime where the Cubans seem to be fighting? I mean is not like I even like neither Donaire or Broner...

You should have said that a long time. Instead of bashing HBO and the likes of Adrien Broner for really no apparent reason. You should have said that you prefer Showtime because they're more willing to show Cubans fighting garbage ass fights.

I know he be getting 6 figures, it's like he steps up every 4 years. 2007, Darchinyan, 2011 Montiel, who knows 2015 might be Gary Russell Jr. He needs 4 years of tune ups for this level of fighters.



I have high standards for what Shobox used to stand for, I have high standards for what premium networks pay for. And, I have high standards for fighters on the level of Lara. So yes I have high standards that don't like to be fed B.S.

I'm with, paying for premium channels and not getting what you pay for is BS but in Lara's case he could not get a fight with any elite fighter at 154, he say he will go down to 147 if they offered a good fight and finally he has to move up to 160 (a weight that I think he is too small) to get a fight, I don't blame Lara I blame the promoter's in this case GBP for not let him fight Canelo and the likes of Kirkland, K9, etc... Remember that GBP try to get rid of this pesky little Cuban when he feed him to Williams, they want him to lose because he was very climbing the ladder too fast and didn't want near Canelo.
