Pac took it away eventually, Floyd will take it away easier.
Cotto only landed like 15 more jabs than Pacquiao. It won't be hard for Mayweather to take away Cottos only weapon, his left hand.

I can't tell if you're disagreeing with me or not but that's essentially what I'm saying.

Floyd is a crazy good counterpuncher, so im guessing he will be able to counter it from time to time, but cotto's jab WILL be landing may 5th. Cotto's a great jabber, has good speed/range with it and throws it at awkward times.

Especially if cotto's right hand shows up to the fight, which judging by his training videos, it will. This will open up his left hook, along with make mayweather be a little more tentative on trying to counter the jab. Add in some body work and patience and we have a great fight.
Oscar is bigger and stronger than Cotto and he has a better jab and Mayweather took away his best weapon with ease. Surprisingly, Floyd had the edge in jabs landed 69-40, throwing 240 to Oscar’s 246.

Oscar landed just 4 of 77 jabs in rounds 10-12, after landing 31 out of 124 jabs in rounds 6-9.

Lets to the math-----124+77= 201, so after the 6th round. Oscar threw 201 Jabs. He threw 45 jabs in the first 5 rounds.

So TRUTH BE TOLD Oscar actually threw MORE Jabs after the 6th round than he did before the 6th round.

Also just because Cotto is using the right hand in training videos doesnt mean that he will be able to use it on Mayweather. Cotto will not out think or outbox Mayweather.

Its funny people think Cottos jab is so dominant. They forget that even with a so called "dominant Jab", the first champion that Cotto beat for a title was Yuri Foreman.

At the peak of his career, he did have a good jab. Fortunately for floyd, he didnt fight oscar at the peak of his career, or anywhere near it.

I dont really care to argue who has(had) the better jab.

Bob arum was the matchmaker. While cotto gained many vacant titles, he did defend them against legit competition. Lettuce not forget how many undefeateds he beat aswell. But i realize im on the wrong end of this circle jerk.
