Is it just beating everyone in your division?
or does the competition have to be excellent too?

if thats the case, you can't simply be a great boxer, you also have to have excellent competition available to fight you?
what if there isnt excellent competition?
    your legacy is tarnished?

so even if a boxer is the GOAT, if his competition is average, he will never be recognised as the GOAT just because of his division

im not talking about dodging or not choosing to not face the best, im saying what if there is no good boxers to fight

Skills play a part as well, just not as much as era-opponents-wins over certain fighters.

It's unfortunate for the K2 bros if you ask me because they are classy guys, who honestly appear to survey the field in search of toughest opponents. It's not really their fault the comp isn't so comp OR at least big enough to make it a fight. I consider them future ATGs, but there ain't enough threatening challengers (chisora did good though) putting them in the kind of dramatic, high profile fights they need. At least they try to find them though
