A petition to eliminate bias in boxing: Please sign!

I have a decent network with another forum and they are going to go Twitte rnuts, so please follow mine. We are going to try and keep this up and make some waves. Takes a sec to sign and post or RT

The petition won't do anything, but if it keeps the issue in the spotlight that is something. If it sparks a bigger news story that is something. I think there is some possibility for fans to speak up -- the main problem is a collective voice, which is easier with technology, but still difficult.

How is this ever going to work if so many so-called boxing fans were prepared to co-sign biased hometown decisions such as Khan-Peterson?

That said, it's better to do something than nothing so I would encourage others to sign.

Not disagreeing but doesn't the lack of money in the sport lead to even more corrupt decisions as every hometown promoter tries to keep his fighter undefeated and in the hunt for titles?

That's interesting. I think you make a good point. I didn't see it at that perspective.

Maybe if we did both, petition and not support padded record setting fights. We may have a chance to make a difference....

Yup, am sold. I was not buying this, but I think am seeing the actual potential this could bring.

We need something, just because the sport is poor doesn't mean they can treat each fight like a prescripted WWE match
