However, between us, I believe the judges must've been swayed in some fashion. There's simply no way a competent judge could possibly see that fight for Rios. And I believe those judges were competent enough to call such a lopsided affair for the rightful winner: Richard Abril.
Well written stuff, definitely way better than mine . But something is better than nothing right? They will get the idea. While I typed it up I sort of let me anger get in the way again but kept it professional and not calling those guys CORRUPT. I also provided them with a list of "robberies" Roth has been involved in which someone posted here a couple of days ago. Im sure they know about it but just wanted to refresh them.

I also threw in there "If the judges from the Lara-Williams fight were suspended these guys need to be FIRED."

Btw when you called they actually picked up? How did that phone convo go? I think my bro, who follows boxing but not as HARDCORE as me, will be e-mailing them too. Even tho he didn't find himself enraged after the decision was called out cause "who didn't see it coming." I mean, I expected Abril to get robbed if it was close but as the final seconds were approaching I told myself "there's no way a guy can get robbed of at least 10 rounds." Then sure enough, the guy got robbed.

It's great that you sent them a complaint letter. The objective is that they hear from many different people. Good job.

I called yesterday, Sunday, so no one picked up. I left my name and a message. I might call again this week and see if anyone picks up. I think the main thing is that as many people as possible express their disapproval of the judging. It's all about the numbers.

When will new judges start to judge fights? I'm so tired of Jerry Roth and Duane Ford and the rest of those so-called judges. How can they keep getting hired to judge fights when they are so wrong all the time.

Look at the score card and see what rounds Roth gave Rios. Now asked yourself how could an experienced judge give those rounds to Rios. It's just a shame what they are doing to boxing.

The problem with complaining to commissions is that ive got no doubt they can be just as shadey as anyone else.

But enough pressure and they may act. Like politicians, and other parasites...if they feel threatened or under pressure they knife someone or pass the buck. If that means roth or towbridge has to wear the blame - atleast we get some short term relief from these gangsters.

Its got me beat how these judges and refs and officials etc havent had their cars fire bombed, homes invaded, that kind of thing...for screwing some poor kids career, livelihood. Im serious...they act corruptly just to get a pay check, nice hotel room, call girl, wine and dine. Yet a poor kid goes home to his poor wife and kids with nothing.

Im sure it'l happen one day.

Firing judges won't accomplish anything. The damage is already done and eventually they'll just starting using "disposable" judges to do the dirty work and take the fall.

Let's be real, how often do you actually see a robbery get overturned? ESPECIALLY when Arum or Sulaiman are involved! I won't get my hopes up but I hope they at least give Abril an immediete rematch and give the Marquez fight to Alvarado or Gesta instead of Rios. He definitely shouldn't be rewarded w/ the Marquez opportunity or payday after that BS win he was blessed with Saturday night.
