I'm assuming most of Rios's troubles had to do with draining himself finally catching up. I still think he has a damn good chance of beating Marquez, unless he has as much trouble making 140 as he did making 135. Will be a great fight no matter what.

Agree with you but that doesn't mean he should get the fight. I didn't see fight, but it seems as if he is being rewarded for essentially not making weight and then losing. That is just not the way TR should be putting fights together.

You saw fight? Did Rios really lose as people are saying? If so, this almost makes this nothing more than a glorified sparring session if Rios goes from this to a title fight at 140 in Cowboys Stadium.

Shouldn't Rios have to earn a title fight?

I've been pretty busy, still haven't seen the Rios-Abril fight. Will get that done today for sure though.

Rios does not deserve Marquez fight

Everybody knows that Rios lost to Abril except the two WBA judges on Top Rank's payroll. Abril gave Rios a boxing clinic and exposed Rios as the one dimensional fighter he is. Abril should be the one fighting Marquez.

Rios was completely embarrassed. He looked terrible.

Maybe he shouldn't get the fight, but I know the large majority of this site is going to say Rios stands no chance. Just saying that I think he would be a handful for Marquez.

Of course they're never going to admit that they lost the fight. Weight issues, please Mosley hadn't fought at 147 in more than eight year and made weight and whoop Margarito's ass and Mosley was close to 40 years old! RIOS Doesn't deserve Marquez. Last two fight looked like ****. Not impressed with him beating Acosta or Antillon, they were picked for him.

Don't reward Rios with the chance to fight JMM. He should be looked over.

Also, avoiding punches isn't boxing? what the ****?

Rios Needs To Dominate The No-Names Before He Calls Out Marquez & Other Elite!

Rios has shown us NOTHING. Nothing other than an arrogant, vulgar mouth. He's a trash talking rube that's just looking for the big paydays, yet doesn't have the game to get there. Right now he's nothing more that a Top ESPN fighter.
