After blowing the weigh-in for the Murray fight Rios said it wouldn't happen again because this time he had a nutritionist on board. Looks like he ate the nutritionist.

The top guys @ 135/140 are in much better shape than Rios. Just look at Devon Alexander, Judah, Bradley, Broner, Ortiz or even 'old' JMM all are in better shape than Rios... more muscles less fat... Rios needs to be a much better athlete than the opponent, because his boxing skills are not really godlike... In his current shape I believe he cannot beat someone like Alexander, Matthysse or Judah @140.Comment

It doesn't always go your way with the media. Rios needs to take the criticism with the praise and accept that sometimes people will have bad things to say about him when it's warranted. He had a bad night, he disrespected his opponent by missing weight and now he's taking his medicine.
Boxing has a short memory. A great performance in his next fight - preferably a rematch with Abril - will all but erase the bad taste from this performance.Comment

I doubt a rematch would ever happen,This was a cherrypick gone wrong for the Top rank matchmakers,they probably didnt do their work on Abril before they sign the fight...If they pick this rematch next for Rios then credit due.Comment

there will never b a rematch but the point is Rios fought poorly and has a terrible, traits a real champ has...Abril is still a pretender w/no pop...Comment
