Lets see Rios had no jab...literally, he didnt throw 1. Abril threw and landed twice as many punches and combos. Rios couldnt hit him at all, and wasnt smart enough to adapt...yet you think he WON the fight. Top Rank pay you off too or have you always not known **** about boxing? Just like Arum wasnt gonna let Manny lose to Marquez and screw up his money..same goes for Bam Bam (who im a fan of btw) whose name has been brought up for the last 3 months as an opponent for JMM or maybe Pac. To lose his undefeated record to an unknown wasnt in the plans..I wont even go into how much money they saved by not having to give either fighter the bonus they promised.

In all seriousness, Rios will no longer be in an exicting fight b/c his opponents will use last night's fight as a blueprint. Is that really what you want? Be prepared for clinch dominate fights for Rios here on out.

That the point both fighter were in a 12rd fight and neither show ANY signs of it. And that what i fear for Rios is people now know to smother and clinch... any how boring fight is boring.

When Molina held 118 times against Kirkland, he was crafty. When Abril holds against Rios, and it wasn't nearly as bad as what Molina was doing with Kirkland, it's illegal and can't be tolerated.

IMO Abril won. But the "look at his face" comment holds no weight, as BamBam dosent look marked up either, even though he often times found himself at the end of Abril's punches.
