Floyd is a much better fighter then he was against JLC. Most of all, the size thing isnt a factor to him anymore. Prime Margarito wouldve given the Floyd of 5 years ago hell strictly because of size & strength. Skillwise its a complete mismatch.
Now Floyd is still small but he's much more comfortable at those weights. This version of Floyd kills Margarito. If Floyd in his prime could handle size like he does now then Margarito wouldve never stood a chance.
Floyd was just so small & weak that he would have to nearly run in alot of those types of fights and he wouldve been on his bike a ton against Margarito. He wouldnt have to do that now. His problem was that he moved up really quick to chase the Oscar fight so he was mad small in every division.
Again, he's stiill small now but much stronger mentally & physically. His body has matured a ton. No one is going to bully him now, not even the prime Margarito let alone Rios.
