Here's why I RESPECT Cotto!

If you don't respect Cotto, you are not a fan of boxing. Period.
He is not the best there ever was and never claimed that, but he is fighting the very best and he is a living highlight reel. He leaves his heart out in the ring and always stays classy outside even if he gets hit with ****ing plaster.
If you don't like this guy, you should seriously question your relation to boxing in general.

It wasnt his fault that the IBF stripped Clottey of the title before their fight and wasnt his fault neither that the champions were not eager to fight him. To believe that Cotto wouldnt beat Hatton at 140 or Baldomir before Floyd did, it is idiotic. Some of you guys just repeat things without even taking time to think about it.

Cotto can score an UPSET, that's possibility he can fight taller heavier opponents, and if he lands those body shots and counter upper cuts then,
Mayweather Jr is in big trouble.

But, if Mayweather Jr lands those stinging jabs then it can open cuts and damage the face of Cotto just like what Pacman did to him.

And Margarito II: avenged his defeat against an Antonio who could probably compete for a title again.

One thing is for sure, Cotto definitely deserves his place in the hall-of-fame - he's a fighter who boxing should be proud of.

As for Cotto-Mayweather, Floyd is rightly the favourite with a 42-0 resume but IF Cotto can come in at 100% and fight the right fight, I would not be surprised if he gets his hand raised!
