Marquez holding the WBO LW title hostage?

    *edit
I was wrong, didn't know Ricky Burns was elevated to full champion.

Not in the way that people complain bout Eastern European fighters, but nobody has fought for it since Katsidis in Nov of 2010 and it doesn't look like he'll be defending it after this Saturday either. Rios fight at 140 (I don't think Rios can make 135 anymore) and then his coveted Pac match.
I'm not just being critical of just him. I mean Bradley had moments twice where he didn't defend his title for an extended period of time (7 and 10 months).... but it'll be almost 2 years since Marquez defended his WBO title, don't they have a rule against that? I mean I don't really care about his WBA strap because it's a super belt and i'm pretty sure they're imaginary.
    Thoughts?

Yes, he should have been stripped after a year,or whatever the rules are.

Even though there's four, he should at least be stripped so others can fight for it

He shouldnt have the super wba either then because that's only if you have another belt, right?

Ricky Burns is the WBO lightweight champ. Was 'elevated' about six weeks ago.
