I hope that happens just so it eliminates him as a potential for Floyd. With Canelo out of the running, it limits Floyd's options and brings a fight between him and Pac that much closer.

well believe it or not mosley was at the time ranked the 3rd or 2nd best welterweight (since floyd was still on his "retirement/vacation"). I still thought it was a poor choice of an opponent considering timothy bradley and marquez were both brought up as other potential opponents at the time. but the pacquiao fight further exposed mosley as being far past his prime and not being able to pull the trigger anymore.
