This generations leonard, Hearns, hagler, and duran combo

Floyd mayweather, manny paq, Oscar and Mosley are practically this generations Leonard, Hearns, Duran and hagler ..... Well almost, until floyd Nd PAC fight, then they would have all faced each other. So far all fights involving them against each other have been pretty good ( with the exception of PAC vs Mosley)......I think they have carried boxing pretty well , it's going to be a while till there is another ELITE group like that all in similar weight class.

I have to disagree with that one. Name wise in the sport maybe but as far as making quality of fights not even close.

I consider Mosley and DLH from a different "era". Sure, they faced Mayweather and Pacquiao but they were way past their prime. I would divide in two groups.

I would put Trinidad (Hearns), DLH (Leonard), Mosley (Duran), and Hopkins (Hagler) in one.

Mayweather, Pacquiao, Cotto, and maybe Martínez as the current one.

Still, neither group is comparable to the 80's one. I also believed that Wilfred Benítez deserved to be included in that group.

The closest in greatness comparably would be Morales Barrera Pacquiao Marquez.

It's an insult to all the other fighters to include a known steroid user in your original list (Mosley).

                    The right answer.

How anyone would lump Oscar and Mosley in with Pacquiao and Mayweather I don't understand.
