Filipino Johnreil Casimero (16-2, 10KOs) is reportedly going to face Sammy Guttierez (31-7, 21 KOs) on June 24th at the Waterfront Cebu City Hotel and Casino, according to the Mexican boxer's team. Casimero won the interim-IBF junior flyweight title in February with a tenth round TKO of Luis Lazarte in Argentina. Provided he wins, Casimero would move forward to a fall fight with the full IBF champion Archie Solis, who is currently in training for his next ring appearance.
