I wonder what his prediction for Cotto-floyd will be? Will it top the 4 million PPV prediction he made for Mosley-floyd lmao

Schaefer is strictly a "hired gun", as the article points out. he likely has a small amount of the Company shares he was allowed to buy, to bind him to Golden Balls. But Oscar and the silent partners who put up most of the money to start the company must own the rest of the shares, which is where the power and profit lie.

The dummy "partners" Barrera, Mosley, Hopkins et al held one share each, possibly with a nominal value of $1. When Mosley signed to fight MannyP he said that one morning the post brought him a cheque for $1000 from Golden Balls and the news that he was no longer a partner, that his share had been repatriated. He WAS surprsied.....

A poster with U.S. legal experience can verify or refute my conclusions.

          Golden Balls?

edgarg wouldn't be so disrespectful if this was an article about Top Rank. If that were the case he'd actually be slurping balls (Arum's) and kissing ass.

He is the CEO, the article itself states that. The contract is for him as CEO and probably has to due with pay ect and guarantees him staying with the company longer.

How would you know what Barrera/Hopkins/Mosley's stakes were in the company if it isnt required to publish it? I have never heard mosley say anything about a check for his shares.

Because you "never heard anything" doen't mean it didn't happen. I'm not in the business of making up stories to impress the mentally short. I detailed it almost exactly as I read it in a few articles and reports on BoxingScene and other outlets. There were posts about it. The reports detailed direct quotes from Mosley who specifically mentioned how surprised he was to get a $1000 in the post and find out that his single share had been taken back, that he had known nothing about it. I'm sure there are many posters who can verify this.

It was reported just after Mosley's signing for the fight with MannyP was finalised. So, Mosley lost his "job" of West Coast Assistant-Chief Back-Scratcher to His Highness The Oscar of La Hoya.

I assume that Barrera, being a law student, had got wise to the "stooge" position he was in when he severed his "official" relationship. I have an idea that Marquez was also involved the same way, but am not sure.
