The biggest problem to me is the audio. Everyone who is going to a Theater has to make sure you call them and ask are they going to use surround. Its a totally different fight with it on or if its just coming from the sreen.
I saw Floyd-Ortiz and it was just ok because it came only from the screen. It took a ton away from the fight. People who saw Floyd-JMM at a different place told me it was awesome with the Surround sound.
I know what you mean about getting robbed though. You might have to travel some distance to go to a nicer, safer theater but you probably can find one. Its worth it if the sound is right. Im going. Your in Norfolk, right? Im in PG, MD. Im probably going to the one in Arundel Mills. Norfolk is a distance away though so you probably dont know this area too well. I might go to Alexendria thoughLast edited by DLT; 04-10-2012, 12:57 PM.Comment

There's a theater in a mall in Norfolk that's playing it this time around... so I might go thereComment

It's a personal thing. I really don't feel safe going out on my own to some places. I mean, it might not be as bad as I think... it's just **** goes down when I go there and every other time I'm not there it's a perfectly fine place.

I have seen both May-ortiz and May-JMM in theaters and it was nice. Not too many people there (had a whole row to myself) surround sound was awesome (it showed at one of the nicer theaters)
I have never been the biggest fan of fight parties i don't like being asked questions or people being loud during a right. which is probably why i would not care to see one live. I like to sit and watch fights in relative silenceComment
