I actually expect him to try it using his jabs and movement because Floyd is pretty stationary these days. we'll see if he can. Hatton did a decent job of bugging Mayweather with movement and quick shots early onComment

It's exactly what he's going to do.. and he's going to find out quickly it's not going to work.

there is no way Cotto will be anywhere close to outboxing Mayweather. He doesnt posses the necessary skill, defense or adaptability to do so. Anyone who believes Cotto can "outbox" Mayweather is foolish and knows nothing about the sport. Cotto is easy to hit and lacks sufficient defense to nullify or halt any of Mayweathers offensive attacks.
@Cotto being able to outbox the Supreme technician, the defensive wizard, the Jedi Master of the Squared Circle.

Wait a minute? Why is everyone perpetuating this myth of "mayweather is stationary"
. Well if he is stationary then what is Cotto? He has always been stationary and will continue to be stationary.
Hatton and Cotto fight nothing alike. Hatton has superior footwork to Cotto and is an inside brawler type of fighter. He has been conditioned since he was a child to cut off the ring and by any means necessary close the gap on his opponent. Miguel doesnt fight like that.
Hatton bugged Mayweather with quick shots? Thats false unless you simply mean that your definition of "Quick shots" are just throwing fast punches that aren't landing & if that is indeed what you mean by "quick shots" then I would agree because Hatton only landed 11 jabs and 53 Power shots which equals a measly 64 punches after throwing 372. None of those "QUICK SHOTS" landed.Comment
