Mayweather had fought Genaro Hernandez, Angel Manfredy, Carlos Gerena, Goyo Vargas, and Diego Corrales in 25 fights.

Whitaker had fought Roger Mayweather, Jose Luis Ramirez, Greg Haugen, Louie Lomeli, Azumah Nelson, and Juan Nazario in 25 fights.

Those are 3 off the top of my head.

Did Floyd fight Corrales by 25 fights? I thought it was later on.

Thread poster should have reworded question. IMO, its not fair to compare ward to anyone from floyd and back becuase the competition was so much deeper and the financial structure encouraged tougher fights rather than "star development".

Since probably 2000, I would prob go with ward, unless I'm missing someone.

Floyd's 25 fights is better, e****ally if you were around and watching boxing at the time. People crap on his resume but those were some big fights he was having at SFW at the time. Plus Ward had alot of big fights in his hometown. Ward is also 28 while Floyd was only 23
