(say they win their next few fights for arguments sake) Personally, I was stoked for this fight ESPECIALLY once Pacqauio beat Cotto at the end of 2009 and thought that was the perfect time for the fight to be made, it was at its pinnacle if it happened on May 5, 2010. Pac wasn't getting leg cramps and was coming off a hugely impressive win, Mayweather outworked Marquez easily and still looked great.
Now, its evident Pac isn't as good as he was a few years ago, and its normal, age happens and Mayweather is definately slower than he was when he was fighting regularly, hence he could be more vulnerable but his defence is still phenomenal.
Would you be interested if this fight happened in 1 year? I would still be because of who they are, this was going to be the first PPV I would have ever bought but not as much as I was previously.
