Bouts where you disagreed with commentators on how fight went/ended?

Off the top of my head:

Mayweather-Hatton - I didn't think the fight was as close as Ledderman or the HBO crew had it.

JMM-Pac III - Same as above.

Angulo-Kirkland - I thought Kirk's uppercut in the 1st round is what stopped Angulo in his tracks; not Angulo gassing.

    Anymore that come to mind?

I thought Angulo did punch himself out.

The HBO crew were on Pacquiao's nuts in the 3rd Marquez fight. It was disgusting. When Marquez hit Pacquiao cleanly, they decided to talk about Pacquiao's footwork.

I also thought they were way too harsh on Paul Williams throughout the Lara fight.

I don't remember what the commentators were saying, but the king of disagreeing with HBO for me is still Kotelnik-Alexander by far. I tend to drown out commentators during fights, so they don't particularly bother me.

Easily Pacman Marquez as the latest & greatest. The 1st time I watched the fight had was with the British commentators they were fabulous.

But the hbo analysts were down right insane. Marquez didn't run like they were saying. He moved laterally & put on one of the greatest clinics that I've ever seen considering the facts.

Pacman was bigger, stronger & faster. Yet Marquez managed to totally render his size, speed & power ineffective. I've never seen that before in boxing. Usually the smaller man has at least 1 advantage like Floyd being faster than Oscar when they fought. Marquez though had none, yet put on a boxing clinic.

Linares/DeMarco. I'm a huge Linares fan but he was only winning the rounds because of his workrate while DeMarco was landing the more effective shots. He was also timing and countering Linares more often than Linares was countering him, Linares was just flurrying, it was flash over substance, a result of Roach's teachings. I was ashamed at the dick riding by Steward.

            Martinez-Williams II.

They were saying the punch came out of nowhere and making it to be ''a lucky punch''.That's false,Martinez landed the left hand all throughout the first fight, probably saw Quintana did it aswell and he kept doing it in the rematch wth Williams.
There was nothing lucky about it,he knew what he was doing.

There are several instances, don't really pay much atenttion to commentators anyway.

Cotto-Margs 2: "Cotto's fighting the same fight he did the first time"

              What fight were they watching?
