Comments Thread For: Margarito, Salido Double on June 2 in Ciudad Obregon?

BoxingScene.com recently reported that former champion Antonio Margarito (38-8, 27KOs) is possibly going to return on June 2 in Ciudad Obregon, Sonora. Sources are now indicating that WBO featherweight champion Orlando Salido (38-11-2, 26KOs) is another possible option for the show, making the second defense of his title after stopping Juan Manuel Lopez last month in ten rounds.

Much respect to Salido went twice to
P.R.and won twice in two incredible battles
doesn't change the fact i'm still Team Juanma

        Maybe Salido should train Margarito
how to win a fight with out
        cheating...

Salido already cheated once before, when he beat Robert Guerrero he was tested positive for steroids...

Since you know so much how come you dunno he retested and was negative?

Margarito-Mayweather is a dumb match up. When was the last time Margarito won? And now he's most likely gonna fight a nobody. They were also talking about Margarito-Mayorga.

No, he didn't cheat. He had a natural secretion of Nandrolone from his own system which produced the reading which it can during strenous workouts on occasion and he went out immediately after the fight and was retested by a nationally recognized lab and showed no steroids.

He retested the same day and was negative....but the commission adamantly overlook the second test trying to keep Guerreros undefeated record intact. Instead they told Salido if you don't like it you can appeal the veredict it only will take up to 5 years to clear the situation....with the possibility that you won't be able to box for a year or two.

If I was Salido I'll probably do the same and take the blame.

They should add Eloy Perez, Cruz Carbajal, and Omar Nino to the card . So, they can all celebrate Cheating in boxing to the fullest. Maybe the Mexican 1st Lady and their President can attend ...
