Some of you guys think that only fighting in the States & England or where white people live make fight more legit. This guy is really good. Gamboa and company turned down a fight with him. So have many others. Like the say in the States he has puts asses in seats. That gives him control. Jon does that. He will sell out stadiums. He did fight here twice and many of you didn't watch or didn't care to view it. Why would anyone want to fight in a place where no one give a ***** about you. Especially when he's God like in his country.
Maybe when all our champs stop chasing money and start chasing the real title then they can go fight Jon when and where he wants. He's earn that much.

As far as earning anything, John deserves props for beating Marquez at home six years ago. He has done almost nothing to earn the respect of true boxing fans since then. You can defend it any way you like it, but a vast majority of his defenses since then have been complete b.s. fights, just like this one. IMO he is no more the real 126-pound champion than Sturm is the real middleweight champion

I have seen the John vs. Marquez fight and I don't know what's worse him being robbed by fighting in Indonesia or the outcome of Lara vs. Williams! At least Pac vs Marquez was close enough to be "controversial" but Marquez pwned Chris John every single round of the 12 rounds. John is like a Juan Diaz at best (that the result which should have been the outcome of that fight). When is the last time he fought a worthy name or even fought someone outside his hometown?? Combine the two and John won't win *****! It'd be like Pacquiao fighting in the Philippines and dominating 100 people what glory is there in that? I really "Dislike" this dude...
