Who really gives a ***** about what Ariza says? I don't see ANY OTHER conditioning trainers make headlines on boxingscene.com.

      When you say performances lately:

      1. Mosley - ran the entire fight. If Mosley fought like he normally does (toe to toe), he would've been KO'd.

      2. Marquez - He's always looked bad against Marquez.
But he tried to box Marquez, rather than go at him like in the first two fights, he didn't have the fire I expected him to. He never had problems taking out guys that ran from him before, so seeing him having problems with old Shane Mosley was shocking. And he took it easy on Margarito towards the end, whereas Pacquiao from even a year earlier would have finished smashing his face in.

I don't know, things have been so easy for him for so many years, he's getting older, he's made the money, has an outside the ring occupation taking up time he would have spent before in the gym, Pac looks ready to get the hell out, and I can see why Roach and Ariza would have reasons to worry about the effort being put into staying at the top of his game.

This fight is really good. Timothy Bradley at this stage means more than Cotto, though Cotto is also very legit.

I'm happy that we see the biggest champions taking on the *cough* biggest *cough* risks!

He hasn't started training and this article claims Ariza is concerned about his conditioning??????????? Why doesn't Ariza actually wait till Pac starts training before becoming concerned that is if he even has to be concerned about something that has not even happened yet??? And why an article just for one sentence written about a statement taken out of context?????

So what do you think is best? What type of training? Genuinely curious

Seems to me that Ariza will gripe to anyone with a microphone.

Distractions before the JMM fight? I thought he had the best training camp ever and that he was in incredible physical shape, that he was going to 'blast' Marquez out and that even god himself wouldn't stop Pacquiao from destroying Marquez.

C'mon the Pac camp always says crap, the guy is fine.

Conditioning the legs and improving cardiovascular endurance are useless? You sure you're talking about boxing? You can argue "better" methods, but to say they're useless defies nearly every boxing champ in history.

Exactly. Ariza said Manny was super motivated for the Marquez fight and it was the best training camp they ever had.

Alex Ariza just needs to have one on one talks with Pacquiao and get to the root of the problem. I am 100% confident that Manny is still hungry and will end this bout in a KO just like old times.

And I lol'd at the guy who said running is useless for boxers.
