This news has severely depressed me. I was really hoping Darch could win a 3rd title before retiring. I think if he was only 30 he could still do it, but now he's 36 and just too small against these guys. The size difference between them was amazing. Yamanaka is huge!

Sounds like he got royally screwed about the cut too. Bad cut caused by a headbutt, should/could have been stopped but ruled as a BS punch. In fact, going by the book, he should have won the fight right there if it was stooped and went to a TD.

One more reason why boxing needs instant replay, but will never get it. They need it to stop robberies, but commissions and hometown promoters need to keep robbing people so they will make sure it never happens so they can do whatever they want.

Poor Vic. Feel bad for him. He's a warrior. Fights anyone, anywhere, anytime.

Why should he retire...unless he's "shot", and can't take any more punishment. Fifhters fight, that's their job, they have no other, unless they are smart enough to have edged into something wlse whilst fighting. And they mostly are not smart.

You'd have more crededibility if you'd explained why the commissions insist on having cheating decisions. You're saying that what they want to do is rob fighters of winning decisions.........Hmm

He's got money, no need to take anymore punishment even if he's not completely shot.
