żIvan Robinson from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania inducted into the New Jersey Hall of fame? I guess is a case of not enough famous Jersey fighters..Even thou Gatti is not naturally from Jersey, but żIs Gatti who lived & made his career fighting out of New Jersey(Jersey City)in the New Jersey hall of fame?& all of these Jersey fighters mentioned only had a few fights & non of them ever fought for a world title, the 1 who was best known & got the most publicity was James Scott & the 1 with the most fights is Meyers with only 24 & the ONLY 1 who won some kind of a title was Nisivoccia who won the New Jersey bantamweight title(which in reality has no meaning what so ever)..& I wonder what Tony Santana they are talking about, cause I found 3 Tony Santana's & 2 fought out of & lived in Brooklyn N.Y(1 by way of Puerto Rico) & the only Tony Santana out of Jersey(Atlantic City) had a record of 0-1!!SERIOUSLY!żIs that hall of fame material? By the looks of all this, the New Jersey Boxing Hall Of Fame is PATHETIC!! They shouldn't even have 1!!
Before Mosley beat Demitrio Cebello, Robinson beat him earlier. And Mosley got a lot of credit for beating this guy while Robinson has already done so earlier.

Just to let you know the NJBHOF has been around since 1968 and we have By-Laws that we go by. Ivan Robinson fought in New Jersey 10 times and he is from a surrounding state. Tony Santana who had a 21-2 pro record and won two New York Golden Glove Titles has lived in New Jersey since the 1980's and has been a trainer in New Jersey for many years. Both these fighters are covered by our By-Laws.
The California Boxing Hall of Fame Inducts many fighters outside there state such as Floyd Patterson, Charlie Norkus and many others.
