I'm glad Smith is getting a chance to make some money, although I'm sure it won't be much. He is a tough customer to beat, and never fights any palookas. Unfortunately he loses every time he goes up a class. I see he thinks he's fighting on the 4th. Maybe it's a misprint for the 5th.

I re-read. Thanks for the correction. It looks as if Ellerbe has influence with the promoter and got him a fight. It doesn't say who the promoter is, Mayweather Promotions doesn't have a licence. I think all they do is channel Mayweather''s purses, deducting hefty "expenses" on the way through.

That's cool that Mayweather is helping all these boxers to get their money. He's trying to help these fighters in a good way nothing wrong with that. He needs to start scouting these young fighters coming up. That will make him a lot of money. If Mayweather is real serious about this Promoting thing.
