Chavez by ko. Chavvez has more stamina, better chin, work rate, chin, power, reach and size advantage. It's just a matter of time before canelo moves up.

And you don't think Canelo walks around at 180 lbs? It's a good possibility that Canelo walks around quite close to 180 lbs, if not above that! These fighters today are not that disciplined year-round. And way too many of them are fighting at lower weight classes they don't belong in.

Didn't Canelo come in at 170 on fight night for one of his fights?

Anyway, which weight class do you guys think Canelo will stop at or his body will allow him to?

Its a mix of lack of discipline and the fact that a guy fighting 4 times a year is considered "active."

If they fought 6 times a year, they wouldn't have time to balloon up like some do. But, like that'll ever happen again.

The cutting and fighting below a "natural" weight class is easy to do in boxing when you have a weight class nearly every 6 pounds and the size advantage you could enjoy by cutting "only" 6 pounds is a great advantage.

Its the youngsters you have to worry about. Some drain so terribly, it leaves them completely exhausted come fight night (see Devon Alexander), so when they do move up, they're perfect for the weight class.

I think he's going to be like Marvin Hagler and spend most of his career at Middleweight. He's real stocky and has a pretty short reach. I doubt he'll be able to fight effectively at 168. If he stays in shape, I doubt his body ever outgrows 160.

He should be able to make 154 in a month's time. Get down to 164 or 163 and lose the water....like most of these bigger boxers try to do. If Chavez can rehydrate over 15 pounds in a day, I think a 21 year old Canelo should be able to handle 9 or 10.

He will KO Shane, he is a lot stronger than Floyd, Pacman or Oscar.

Baahahahaaha keep dreaming! Are you saying that Jr. has power? A guy that came in fighting as a light heavy weight against Rubio, a middleweight that has been KO'ed 3 times before and couldn't KO him? A guy that couldn't KO Billy Lyell who has been KO'ed like 5 times?

Please tell me how Jr. the mediocre boxer would KO Canelo? Also, Canelo is clearly a much better boxer. The things people say on this site...
