Got to meet Bad Chad Dawson this morning!

i used to think gary shaw was blowing smoke when he claimed that chad dawson could eventually be a HW, but once i was next to the kid i saw the HW in there waiting to get out of there


i'm well over 200 lbs and his hands were as big as mine. usually when i talk to boxers and shake their hands they have these tiny little baby hands. even the MW and the LHW. but not dawson.

he's got bones like a big man. it's his athletic gifts and his lean muscle that allows him to be so light while having such a gigantic frame.


eventually i can see him getting into a fight with andre ward for a top tier p4p spot. maybe even the top spot.

chad has plenty left. his style lends itself to a long career. his body is perfect for climbing the scales. big men take much longer to mature

i'm convinced that we can still see chad get better. if he lets his hands go there's not a guy at 175 that can carry his f#cking jock strap

By the time that fight was over I was so embarrassed and pissed off at the same time. I didn't even wanna talk afterwards. Now I just feel like "oh he won good for him." Maybe one day he'll make me hop on the wagon again.

i like hopkins, the man is a true legend. its been an honor to live in his era but that era is over now. hopkins' time is up, chad will tear the torch out of his hands and hit him over the head with it.. dawson is the future and the present, wouldnt be suprised if hopkins goes to sleep.
