      Spot on.

      Adamek by UD.

Wow! That would be an intersting HW fight between two small, light HW boxers. I say Chambers by UD though. Hes more skilled than Adamek.
BTW: The fight will be on June 16 so Chambers has enough time to get in great shape.

If Chambers would get in great shape he'd be well below 200 lbs.

If Chambers has fully recovered from his injury problems he'll stop Adamek on his feet late on.

adamek is tough as nails, always in good shape, and a craftsman for his part.

if he gets stopped it will have to be a hellish fight
he's not going quietly. eddie will really have to work for it.

I'm sorry, but if Adamek couldn't stop McBride, Aguilera, Estrada, or Grant, he's not stopping Chambers. Adamek has shown little to no power at HW. And while Chambers could make CW, as I said in my previous post, Chambers has fought his entire pro career at HW, while Adamek started his career as a Light Heavyweight for Christ's sake.

Also, Adamek looks much more blown up at HW then Chambers. As I've said previously, so long as Chambers isn't affected badly by ring rust, he will outbox Adamek to a UD quite handily. I actually think Adamek is tailor made for Chambers.

Also, I saw someone say that he won't have the power to keep Adamek off of him. Well, Chambers has kept 36 of 38 opponents off of him who were mostly much bigger, stronger, and hit harder, and then some. Look at the Dimitrenko fight, Chambers blocked virtually every single punch that was thrown at him, and he actually hurt and dropped Dimitrenko, who is a huge heavyweight with good power. I like Adamek, just can't see him winning this unless Chambers is rusty as all hell.

I'm sorry, but Adamek is too slow, his balance is atrocious at HW, his accuracy isn't as good, and his power is lacking. He is a natural CW. Although Eddie himself is a small heavyweight, he's more experienced there, and has been a HW his entire career.

Someone in here said Adamek would "outbox" Eddie? With all due respect, surely you're not serious? The last thing Adamek would do is outbox him, his only chance to win this is outworking Eddie, and given Eddie's speed advantage, better defense, to me he should be getting off first all night and his punches will have more snap to them and be more noticeable and consistent.

Just 'cause Adamek circled and shoe shined an out of shape plodding Arreola, doesn't mean he'll do that to Chambers. Chambers is a much more advanced fighter then Arreola. My prediction is that Adamek will struggle to find good openings, Chambers finds his range with the jab, and paints Adamek with the right hand and combinations all night. The speed advantage and defensive advantage Chambers has is big, IMO.

Also take into consideration, given Adamek not being a natural HW, and not having alot of experience there, don't be surprised if Chambers' punches have more of an affect on him as do they on other opponents. I'm sorry, while Adamek is a very solid fighter, I feel people tremendously overrate Adamek at times, people make him out to be some extravagant boxer with pure boxing skills. It's ridiculous.
take the bold part but insert the name chambers instead and you have it correct. your analysis of adamek's footwork is particularly amusing. being bullcharged by 250lb arreola while the sole of your shoe is falling off or being battered by vitali doesn't equal having poor footwork. tomasz's footwork and balance for a heavyweight is very good and way way better than flatfooted chambers.

i'll make sure to bump this thread after eddie fails to outclass the 'inferior skilled', slow handspeed, poor defense, horrible footwork having adamek.

Good fight. The heavyweight division needs more these type of contender vs contender matches. Otherwise we won't truly be able to evaluate the division's overall worth outside the Klitschko brothers.
