lol...I lost interest of this fight in fall '11...if it happens cool if not it wont be the end of the World. The fight has lost a lot of luster anyways!!!! It would be f/ucking bad a$$ if Floyd and Manny lose!!!

Why is this even news? Everyone knows that Floyd isn't fighting again this year after Cotto.

It is very likely that he fights once again next year. And, by that time Canelo might be a bigger star. So that could be the lone fight next year.

I don't see Pac or Martinez being realistic for Floyd until 2014. If they're still on top by then.

I disagree Jro, i honestly think he will fight again in November or December, but it might be a tune up type opponent. He will want to fight ASAP after getting out of the pen imho. If Bradley (by some miracle) can get past MP, then he will fight Timmy.

I think he'll fight in December.

With Pac not being tere till 2013 and fighting the Rios-JMM winner, and Sergio fighting the Chavez-Lee winner, he'll fight Alvarez.

GBP is talking about making Canelo-Kirkland in September. If Canelo wins that, he'll fight Floyd for a unification, given Floyd beats Cotto of course. I don't mind that, because I've been saying all along that Canelo needs to beat a Top SWW (Cotto-Lara-Molina-Kirkland) before fighting Floyd. I'll bet money that happens.

Floyd has said he wants to fight 5 more times after Cotto, through age 37. Late 2012, Spring 2013, Late 2013, Spring 2014, Late 2014.

I'm expecting to see Floyd fight Cotto and than Alvarez this year. Next year, he'll fight Khan in May/June 2013, if Khan beats someone like the Berto-Ortiz II winner at WW and beats Peterson handily. I really don't expect to see Mayweather-Pacquiao or Mayweather-Martinez until Late 2013. If all keep winning and looking as good as they do now, it's still big fights then, but a lot can happen in 1-2 years for sure.

I'm not even interested in this fight anymore. I don't think anyone takes what Bob Arum says seriously in the first place. He's been saying the same thing since 09. The last time we heard from Arum he said "Why May 5th? November would be perfect"
