Just as Max was remarking to Cotto that it seems like he needs to get back to old Miguel Cotto, the one that would bully his opponents and break them down, Floyd cut him off and redirected the conversation.

Floyd's mannerisms and behavior on the Face-Off were a strategy, just like anything else. The less animosity Miguel has towards his opponent, the less likely he will be to become a bully in the fight and break Floyd down a la Miguel Cotto at junior welterweight.

The smiling, the excessive praise, the distractions - all part of Floyd's game plan.

He didnt choke him be foreal...Floyd didnt say anything about Ortiz...Ortiz and his camp started acting a fool on the press tour and yelling and screaming, and getting in Floyd's face at the presser, but Floyd STILL aint trash talk him...Compare what Floyd did to Mosley, to what he did to Ortiz...Floyd went FULL THROTTLE against Mosley he said and did everything he possibly could, be foreal, Ortiz didnt get that kind of treatment

If its one Floyd is completely aware of and constantly bothered by, its the comparisons to Pac.
