  • Comments Thread For: Rios: Marquez Beat Pacquiao, I'm Ready To Fight Him

Brandon Rios suspected all along that Yuriorkis Gamboa wasn’t all that interested in fighting him. That’s fine by Rios because it looks like he’s going to get the fight he really wanted if he defeats Richard Abril on April 14 in Las Vegas. Promoter Bob Arum told BoxingScene.com earlier this week that if all goes as planned he intends to match Rios against Mexican legend Juan Manuel Marquez on July 14 at Cowboys Stadium in Arlington, Texas.

Only giving Pac 2 rounds was a bit harsh. I gave him 3

I did score the first an even round but figured any close rounds would go to pac. I had him winning 3, 1 even and the rest to marquez. If you say 4 I wouldn't argue, that's still 8 rounds to Marquez

I smell a classic trilogy in the making. If Marquez doesn't retire before then.

I don't like this fight because honestly Marquez will lose it. Rios is the best pressure fighter around that weight class. Better than Katsidis & Juan Diaz who gave Marquez trouble.
