        It's hard to compare because Roy didn't face the kind of challenges that Pacquiao has faced obviously

        Their journeys to the top of the sport couldn't be more different

        Jones was an amazing amateur was robbed of the gold at the olympics and ever since he set foot in a professional ring he was leaps and bounds ahead of the competition Pacquiao got better with time (and Roach)

        I'll say this while Pacquiao will defintely rank higher than Jones in terms of all time greats he never dominated the sport in the way Jones did by hitting and not getting hit he's done it by being an offense machine and taking his opponents apart

        Plus Pacquiao shares the p4p crown with Floyd Roy stood alone as the standout talent of his generation dominating in a way I'll doubt we will ever see again

        if he retires after the ruiz fight i guarantee you people's perception is completely different
