Among all the top lbs for lbs fighters today marquez is the only one the gets a pass for fighting stiffs and bums? Donaire, sergio, floyd, pac, all of them gets crucified for fighting bums... Why?

Cuz he's fought Mayweather AND "beat" Pac. :|... Unless, of course...you consider his last fight against a bum? Your picture leads me to believe you do not think so. On a side note..that Pac pic you use...he looks JUST like Marquez there in this weird way.

like he just had a light sparring session? Or why in three fights he managed to be laying flat on his back instead of on his feat four times? Secretly Marquez knows he lost twice with a gift draw and thats why psychologically he keeps on wanting that next rematch to try to avenge and save face (what little he has left).

I know everyone's complaining that JMM is fighting a bum but consider the fact that his fight is happening 2 months before Manny's and they just fought each other, and he's got a second fight planned a month AFTER Manny against someone like Rios...its a stay busy fight thats all, in the time Manny's fighting 1 guy, JMM is fighting 2 guys, 1 bum and 1 world champ.

His face was fine after the Clottey fight, plus your comparing apples to oranges here. Clottey landed very little and covered up, absolutely no aggression what-so-ever while he was used as a human punching bag. Marquez on the other hand was outlanded in almost every round, plus Pac was the aggressor pretty much the whole fight. The judges got it right my friend.

Better yet, work on increasing your ability to actually be aggressive instead of standing there only counter punching and throwing combinations that all miss. You can't coast your way to a win by only countering, be aggressive and actually take his title from him.

Problem is he tried that, and got KD'd 4 times



Marquez doesnt have enough skill or power to hurt pac - which is why he backpedals all the time when he fights pac

Going backwards is basically admitting that he is afraid of pac's power and that automatically scores ring generalship points for Pac

But regardless of how that is interpreted, pac clearly landed the harder and more effective shots. Just 1 look at their faces after the fight tells you who was landing the better shots; you couple that with the other factors and pac clearly won. Everytime i watch the 3rd fight, i end up with pac winning either 117-111 or 116-112.
