Sort of the same reason Winky turned down a Taylor rematch. Winky thought he had won the first fight, and the fight was a Draw anyways, but Taylor/DiBella still wanted the lions share while Winky was asking for 50-50.

This situation is different, Mayweather actually beat De La Hoya, they sold a record breaking 2.4Mill PPV's TOGETHER, and DLH still wanted the lion's share. Floyd wasn't gonna bend down for Oscar. I thought Floyd did the right thing, he ended up becoming an established PPV seller anyways. No harm, no foul.

all thanks to Oscar without Oscar fighting him NONE would have known who he was his PPV numbers were garbage before that fight check baldomir's and judah numbers...the Oscar fight introduced floyd to the mainstream same way the oscar fight with pac made pac into a PPV and household name

so, Oscar had things too. He was a Mexican American, came out the Olympics heavily backed by HBO and crowned the Golden Boy before he even had a fight. You have to give Floyd props for coming up the harder way and still making it big.

Also, it wasnt all Oscar. 24/7 was a huge thing and that was Floyd's ideal. Thats what really sells fights now and no one masters it like Floyd.

So you're saying Mosley should've got a 50/50 split for the rematch?

The fuk does that have to do with anything? You talk about being a smart business man but you think winning and losing and belts actually have something to do with purse splits? If Pacquaio loses to Tim Bradley, you really think that ***ggot is getting a bigger split for the rematch? Its about who the bigger draw is. Yeah it's **** but thats the reality.
