Tyson was on track until he got rid of Keven Rooney. He was in his prime at age 21 and could have got a lot better. Just imagine that, people are asking who would have won between Ali and a 21 year old Tyson. Ali didn't even win the title until he was 22. Tyson's age is a big part of what made him amazing. He had the potential to be the greatest HW ever. I don't like his attitude after prison and the things he said. He was out of control at that point. Will there ever be another HW that young and that good again? Probably not in our lifetime.

He hadn't faced anyone great while he was with those guys either.

Even if he had stayed with Rooney and Cus, someone like Lennox and Holy would've sonned him either way. His style was good against hopeless clubfighters and paper title holders like Berbick but he had no chance against top tier fighters.

Probably not, the heavys now are big and tall "boxers", Tyson was an animal, he was in there to finish you off as fast as possible. James Toney couldn't beat Tyson. Tyson was entertaining both in and out of the ring, not just a mouth who can't even land a punch on Randy Couture.

Lewis and Holyfield didn't win their titles from great fighters either. Holyfield was getting old when Lewis fought him and Lewis couldn't even knock him out of hurt him like Bowe did. You can have your opinion, but that's all it is.
