If Pacquiao trained almost every day, spent his days in the gym, lived well, and if Marquez had to jump 3 weights in a year for the fight and Manny disregard the 144lbs catchweight, then Yes, yes he does, probably KOs him.

Long breaks away from the ring can do you good, if you still live the life and keep healthy.

Look at Vitali, his body was begging for a rest from the punishment it had taken over the previous 15 years.

Pacquiao has been boxing since he was 16 and has been in some hard fight fights, a 20 month break from the ring could have done him a world of good.


I think this refreshed and revitalised Pacquiao would KO an JMM who had been rushed up to 144lbs and was looking sluggish bloated in the ring.

D4, not a bad reply but let's be honest--manny drug jmm up 3 more pounds after floyd fought him--and yes, they didn't actually weigh in at 147 lbs, but it was for that weight class---how can floyd be bashed for that fight--

he never said he'd come in at 144 lbs--i know this has been talked about many times but that win for floyd against jmm was legit imo---when comparing it to manny--albeit manny and jmm have history, but how can floyd be bashed when you have to fight to make history---

oscar gave manny a chance and manny beat the **** out of him---floyd gave marquez a chance to do the same thing---this was a storied plan by floyd---to upstage oscar by showing him what to do against a smaller man and to put fright into manny by showing him what bigger fighters do to smaller ones----and it's worked--floyd accomplsihed it all and manny looked terrible against a GUY WHO HE MADE MOVE UP AFTER THAT GUY WENT BACK DOWN IN WEIGHT AND JMM LOOKED BETTER THAN MANNY AND EVEN THOUGH HE LOST, DID HE REALLY? WHY WASN'T MANNY BASHED FOR THIS LIKE PEOPLE SEEM OT BASH FLOYD FOR THE HATTON FIGHT---don't blame floyd for hatton being too afraid to get that ass spanked at 140--why would floyd go down in weight again to fight hatton when he already won a title at 140?lol--hatton had more to prove by fighting floyd, not the other way around---2004 and especially 2005, hatton said no mas to floyd--i don't blame him though.

manny and floyd just proves that thee can move up in weight and win---albeit, only 1 has done so and remained undefeated in the record books but you get my drift i hope folks-lol

Watched the third fight millions of times. Each time I thought how can people claim this guy won by fighting backwards and just trying to survive? Considering manny was weight drained in the 2nd fight, and still kd'd marquez and left him needing a doctor in his corner for the last 3 rounds, id say manny beats jmm anytime under any conditions.

i say manny can beat jmm in any weights 130 too 150 becaus he has jmm number ! sure jmm counter punching all figte but that not a tru champ u need to be agressors to take a belt no little counter punch run guy . that s why pac have so many title 8 divison becaus he take ur titles
